School.com SCIENCES: A Methodology for Innovative Educators Formation
ABSTRACT
The present study aims to present the results achieved in the Escola.com CIÊNCIA Project (School.com SCIENCES Project), developed with students from the Normal School, from Colégio Normal Estadual of Afogados da Ingazeira – PE, Brazil, and experienced as a methodology for the first formation of the teachers concerning the use of computing tools in the classroom. The project started aiming to implement to Education the activities of the Applied Computing subjects, in order to provide the opportunities to normal school students to understand the computer as a favoring tool in the construction of the knowledge in the learning process. The methodology of teacher formation was developed into pedagogical sequences structured as a pedagogic project where the normal school students (pre-service teachers) acted in the creation of workshops involving several technology resources in interdisciplinary activities in areas such as Sciences, Transversal Subjects and Portuguese, having the participation of the students from Elementary School I, and their respective teachers as well, in the workshops execution stage.
